Gettysburg, ranked 10th in the latest USILA Div. III poll, scored the final three goals of the first half to take a 9-6 lead into the break and defeat No. 13 Washington and Lee, 11-9.

Charlie Johnson (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) led the Bullets with four goals.

Jackson Barroll (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) added two goals and two assists. He also had two caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Jackson Barroll finished on a man-up situation to tie the game at 2-all before
Will Hedley (Charlotte, N.C./The Hotchkiss School) scored in transition for Gettysburg's first lead of the game with 7:54 on the clock. Maroney found the back of the net for his second with 3:15 showing for a 4-2 lead after one quarter.
• Luke Caldwell and Tucker Davis scored 48 seconds apart to tie the game at 4-all with 13:31 remaining.

Charlie Johnson and Meyer traded tallies, Barroll and Johnson connected for the second time and the Barroll finished a solo run and
Matt Maciolek (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) fired one home to cap a 3-0 run in just 1 minute, 12 seconds for a 9-6 lead with 3:08 to play in the opening half.
• After a scoreless third quarter that featured five saves by each keeper, Hearn picked up a loose ball near midfield and fired ahead to Johnson, who deposited it home for a 10-6 with 14:24 on the clock. Caldwell snapped a 27-minute, 6-second scoreless drought with a man-up marker to make it 10-7. Johnson netted a man-up goal of his own with 4:39 to play before Max Fertels and Elliot Cohen each scored in the final four minutes for the two-goal final margin.

Jacob Goldstein (St. Louis, Mo./Laude Horton Watkins) won 11 of 19 faceoffs with eight ground balls and a caused turnover.

Murphy Hoey (Fairfield, Conn./Berkshire School [Mass.]) made nine saves in goal with three ground balls and a caused turnover.
• Washington and Lee's Zach Rosenberg made 18 saves at the other end.
• Gettysburg held a 52-35 advantage in shots and 36-28 advantage in ground balls.
