THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg finished third at the 36-hole Cardinal Spring Classic hosted by Catholic at Black Rock Golf Course. The Bullets turned in a two-day total of 679, registering a round of 335 on Saturday and a round of 344 on Sunday.
THE LEADERS
•
Lucy Barton (Tilghman, Md./Blair Academy [N.J.]) led the Bullets after posting the best round of any Gettysburg golfer on Sunday, placing tied for fourth in the field. She registered a round of 79 over the second round after a round of 83 on Saturday to record a total score of 162.
FOR THE FOES
• Marymount won the seven-team tournament by 44 strokes, posting a two-day score of 639. The Saints raced out to a big lead on the first day with a round of 317 before carding a round of 322 on Sunday.
THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Chloe Barton (Tilghman, Md./Blair Academy [N.J.]) had Gettysburg's best opening round, posting a score of 80 before registering a round of 86 on Sunday to finish eighth with a score of 166.

Claire Mamlouk (Arlington, Mass./Arlington) was tied for 12th with a total of 176, recording rounds of 84 and 92 over the weekend.
•
Caitlin Mullen (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) placed 15th with a score of 178, registering a round of 88 on Saturday and 90 on Sunday.
•
Abby McMonagle (Troutdale, Ore./Central Catholic) rounded out those in the lineup for the Bullets, finishing 19th with a score of 182 with rounds of 93 and 89.
• As an individual,
Natalie Boyd (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) finished tied for 16th with a score of 179, posting a round of 88 on Saturday and a 91 in the second round.

Mackenzie Buerk (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and
Nikki Hall (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) rounded out the Gettysburg individuals with scores of 199 (93-106) and 205 (104-101), respectively. Buerk was tied for 27th while Hall placed 31st.
