THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg and Dickinson began their bout on April 14
th with the Bullets trailing 2-0 when the game was called due to weather. Set to be continued on April 15
th the Bullets earned three singles wins to put them at a 3-3 tie with the Red Devils when another halt was placed on the match. Ultimately Gettysburg came out on top with a 4-3 win.
THE LEADERS
Ben O'Connor-Skloot led the Bullets clinching the win at No. 5 singles defeating Jack Weaver of Dickinson 6-2, 6-1.
Matt Porreca and
Teo Burgess had a perfect 6-0 win at first doubles.
FOR THE FOES
Lucas Bogles led the Red Devils with a 6-4, 6-2 win at first singles.
THE REST OF THE STORY
Teo Burgess pushed his second singles match into a third set after dropping set one 6-3 ultimately winning in the last two 7-6, 6-4.
Matthew Porreca added another match in three winning set one 6-2 he fell just short of the second set win but he took the 6-4 third set to win the match.
Owen Kutlu added another win at No.6 singles with a 7-5, 6-3 performance.
