THE LEADERS
Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) led the Bullets with a hit in each game. She also drew a pair of walks and stole a base.

FOR THE FOES
• Cadence Rieg led the Hornets with four hits and four RBIs on the day.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg jumped out to a 1-0 lead in game one. Audrey Bergan and Jamie Shaw (Mount Airy, Md./Glenelg) led off the game with back-to-back infield singles before a wild pitch and one-out sacrifice fly from Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie) scored Shaw for a 1-0 lead.
• A two-out home run from Paige Eagleton in the bottom of the second tied the contest at 1-all. Three straight singles, including a pair of bunt hits, followed before a bases-loaded walk to Cadence Rieg gave Shenandoah a 2-1 lead. A wild pitch and two more walks stretched the lead to 4-1.
• A two-out walk to Bergan followed by a Shaw single and Laczkowski walk loaded the bases in the top of the third. Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) followed with a two-run single to center to make it 4-3.
• An Eagleton walk and two-out single from Payton Jensen pushed the lead back to 5-3 in the bottom of the frame.
• A two-run double stretched the lead to 7-3 before a two-out error and Sarah Medellin single to right made it 8-3 in the fourth.
Abby Todd (Roebling, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional) singled up the middle to start the top of the sixth before pinch-runner Zoe Brennan (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) scored on a two-out Abigail Gold (Apex, N.C./Apex) RBI single before four straight hits, including a pair of doubles, in the bottom of the inning ended the game, 12-4.
• In the nightcap, Eagleton and Medellin both singled with one out before a three-run Jensen home run staked the Hornets to a 3-0 lead in the second. An error and two-run Rieg homer made it 5-0.
• A two-out Bergan single, wild pitch, hit batter and Leczkowski single to center made it 5-1 in the third but Shenandoah got the run back in the bottom of the inning on a single, walk, stolen bases and error.
