THE REST OF THE STORY
•
Riley d'Entremont got the day going, finishing a
Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) pass fewer than two minutes into the game.
Julia Daly opened her big day just 1 minute, 25 seconds later off a
Nina Marra (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) feed. A
Sarah Scollin (Orefield, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) unassisted goal and d'Entermont-to-
Riley Kenrick (Verona, N.J./Verona) connection just 50 seconds apart made it 4-0. Mia Salvatierra scored on the Gettysburg defense for the first time in approximately 85 minutes of game play before Anna Wilson cut the margin to 4-2 with 2:09 to play in the opening quarter.
• Daly hit Scollin in the first 40 seconds of the second quarter before scoring twice for a 7-2 lead with 10:57 on the clock. After a second Salvatierra goal, Daly converted her fourth midway through the period. After Piper Evans and
Katie Westmoreland (Abington, Pa./Mt. St. Joseph Academy) traded goals, Passarello finished d'Entremont and Daly helpers just 67 seconds apart. Marra made it a 12-4 game just before the intermission.
• Daly found Kenrick with 11:43 on the third-quarter clock to net the Bullets' fifth straight en route to a 8-0 run.
Michaela Kelly (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) put home d'Entremont's third assist before the freshman did the work herself for a 15-4 lead with 8:59 showing. Daly tallied her fifth with 4:52 on the clock before Salvatierra made it 16-5 in the final 3:24 of the period.
•
Kali McDonnell (Norwich, Vt./Hanover) finished off a Daly pass before d'Entermont made it 18-5. Salvatierra found Wilson then scored an unassisted goal to close the margin to 18-7 before
Delaney Nolan (Allentown, N.J./Allentown) gave d'Entremont her seventh point with just 35 ticks.
