THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg finished 11th at the 54-hole Capital City Classic as part of a field of 18 teams that featured 12 of the top 26 teams in Division III. The Bullets fired an opening round score of 305 before rounding out the first day with a round of 295 and carding a round of 296 on Tuesday to finish with a total score of 894.
THE LEADERS
•
Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) led the Bullets with a 13th-place finish and 54-hole score of 218. He fired matching rounds of 73 on Monday before registering an even-par 72 on Tuesday.
FOR THE FOES
• Huntington won the tournament with a score of 861 (283-282-296), five strokes ahead of second-place Methodist.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Daniel Casanta (Pinehurst, N.C./Pomperaug) finished tied for 21st overall with a score of 220. He posted a three-under par 69 to lead the way on Monday afternoon. His tournament started with a round of 75 and wrapped up with a round of 76.

Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) was tied for 43rd with a score of 226, remaining consistent over the two days with round of 76, 75 and 75, respectively.

Andrew Ekstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban) placed 65th with a score of 231. After matching rounds of 79 on Monday, he turned in a one-over par 73 on Tuesday.

Tim Hill (Weston, Mass./Dover Sherborn) rounded out the Bullet competitors in 76th place with a total of 236 (79-78-79).
