THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg finished 17th at the 54-hole Sam Snead Collegiate as part of a field of 21 teams that featured 10 of the top 30 teams in Division III. The Bullets fired an opening round score of 307 before rounding out the first day with a round of 299 and carding a round of 302 on Tuesday to finish with a total score of 908.
THE LEADERS
•
Daniel Casanta (Pinehurst, N.C./Pomperaug) led the Bullets with a 36th-place finish, improving his score each round for a final total of 224. He opened with a round of 77 before finishing out Monday with a round of 74 then carding a two-over par 73 on Tuesday.
FOR THE FOES
• Second-ranked Carnegie Mellon edged third-ranked Methodist for the team title. The Tartans posted a score of 854 (289-286-279) to the Monarchs' score of 862 (293-283-286). The two teams combined for six of the top nine individual finishers.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Andrew Ekstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban) placed tied for 45th with a score of 225. He sandwiched rounds of 74 around a Monday afternoon round of 77.

Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) finished tied for 55th with a score of 227. He bounced back from an opening-round score of 78 to fire Gettysburg's best round of the tournament with a one-over par 72 but closed out the tournament with a round of 77.

Wyatt Isgrig (Greenwood Village, Colo./Cherry Creek) placed 87th with a score of 235 (81-76-78) while
Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) was 102nd with a score of 242 (78-83-81).
