Gettysburg heads to Medford for Regional Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA has announced the regional hosts for the 2026 NCAA Division III women's lacrosse tournament and Gettysburg learned that its road to Rochester will run through Medford, Mass., next weekend.

Tufts will host one of the four regional sites on Saturday and Sunday. The four regional winners advance to the national semifinals at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y, on Friday, May 22.

The Bullets (14-6) will take on the host Jumbos (15-3) in the first third-round game at 10:30 a.m. Williams (11-7) and Colorado College (16-3) will square off in the day's second third-round game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday's winners will meet in Sunday's quarterfinal game at 4:30 p.m.

Gettysburg advanced to the regional weekend with a 13-9 win over No. 24 MIT on Sunday. Tufts defeated Haverford in the second round, 17-7. Williams was an 11-10 winner over William Smith and Colorado College topped Rhodes 20-7 in their respective second-round games.

The Bullets met Tufts during the regular season. The Jumbos defeated Gettysburg 16-12 on Mar. 18 in Gettysburg. Gettysburg has never played Williams and has not played Colorado College since a 10-4 win on Mar. 17, 2000.

Senior Julia Daly (McLean, Va./Langley) leads the attack with 64 goals, 31 assists and 95 points after an 11-point weekend that broke the program record for points in a career. Senior Maddie Passarello (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) is second on the team with 40 goals and 50 points. Freshman Riley d'Entremont (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor) is third on the squad with 46 points, ranking second with 26 assists to go with 20 goals.

Sophomore Ally Kennedy (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) leads the team with 22 caused turnovers and 37 ground balls while senior Nora Crowther (Randolph, N.J./Villa Walsh Academy) has 22 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls. Sophomore Grace Battle (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School) leads the way with 133 draw controls while also adding 22 goals and seven assists. Passarello has 81 draw controls.

Freshman Marin McGuire (Summit, N.J./Summit) leads the goalkeeping corps with an 8.72 goals-against average and .388 save percentage.
