THE SKINNY STORY
Haverford scored four runs in both the first and seventh innings for an 11-3 victory over Gettysburg in the first elimination game of the 2026 Centennial Conference championship tournament.
THE LEADERS

Lauren Bickler (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) led the Bullets with a 2-for-3 day the play, adding a walk, run and RBI.
FOR THE FOES
• Shelby Preisser led the Fords with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Addie Sapirstein doubled down the line to lead off the game. A two-out Shelby Preisser staked Haverford to a 1-0 lead before scoring on a Kama Bode double. A Kyra Van Denburgh infield single and Zoe Friedman triple opened up a 4-0 lead.
• A Jocelyn Leal double and Lauren Martin single stretched the lead to 5-0.

Lauren Bickler led off the bottom of the fourth with a single before a pair of passed balls moved her to third and she scored on an
Anika Pelekis (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) single up the middle. A dropped fly ball allowed Pelekis to score to make it 5-2.
• A Preisser double and Van Denburgh single stretched the lead to 6-2 in the fifth before another Preisser RBI single extended the lead to 7-2 in the sixth.
• Friedman went yard with one out in the seventh to start the four-run frame before singles from Sapirstein and Lauren Martin around an RBI groundout made it 11-2.
• Two walks and an
Audrey Bergan (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif./La Jolla Country Day School) infield single loaded the bases with two outs before Bickler drew a walk for the final margin.
