After a close opening-set victory, Gettysburg pulled away in the next two sets to record a 3-0 win at York (Pa.).

Clare Farrell (Livingston, N.J./Academy of St. Elizabeth) led the Bullets with 12 kills and hit .370 to go with five digs.

Emma Bradshaw (East Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) chipped in eight kills and four blocks, hitting .389 on the night.

• After a back-and-forth start, an attacking error and
Kierra Fox (Phoenix, Ariz./Rancho Solano Prep School) ace gave Gettysburg a 7-5 edge. A
Nala Shearer (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) ace between kills from
Erin Gonzalez (Cincinnati, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) and
Emma Bradshaw extended the lead to 10-6 and forced a timeout. York worked back to tie the set at 15-all on a Kylie Kuo ace but three Spartan miscues and a
Clare Farrell kill put the visitors back in front 19-15 en route to a 25-20 victory.
• Gonzalez capped a 4-0 start to the second set with an ace. Back-to-back
Reece Benner (Royersford, Pa./Pope John Paul II) aces pushed the lead to 9-2. Four Gonzalez knockdowns keyed a 7-0 run that opened up a 19-6 lead en route to a 25-9 win.
• Farrell put the exclamation point on an 8-1 start to the third set with back-to-back kills. York clawed to within 14-10 but an
Ava Grall (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra) kill started a 9-0 run, opening up a 23-11 lead in the Bullets' 25-14 set-three victory.
