THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg posted three rounds of 304 or better in a field of some of the top teams in Division III, placing 14th at the Gate City Invitational hosted by Greensboro. The Bullets carded a 54-hole score of 897, opening with a round of 304 on Monday before firing a round of 294 on Monday afternoon and round of 299 on Tuesday.
THE LEADERS

Daniel Casanta (Pinehurst, N.C./Pomperaug) finished tied for 27th to lead the Bullets, registering a score of 221 over the three rounds. After an opening round of 80, he posted two rounds under par over the final 36 holes. He carded a round of 70 on Monday afternoon and 71 on Tuesday.
FOR THE FOES
• Huntingdon won the team title by four strokes with a score 855 (281-288-286). The Hawks had two golfers tie for the title and three of the top five finishers in the field.
THE REST OF THE STORY

Will Chouinard (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) finished 32nd in the field. He opened the tournament with an even-par round of 72 before carding matching rounds of 75 to finish with a score of 222.

Andrew Ekstrom (York, Pa./York Suburban) was one stroke behind his teammate, tied for 36th. He also opened with an even-par 72 before a round of 77 on Monday afternoon and 74 on Tuesday.

Liam Houlihan (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen) finished 66th in the field with a score of 231. He sandwiched rounds of 80 and 79 with an even-par 72 over the second 18.

Redmond Podkowa (Marion, Mass./Bishop Stang) rounded out the Gettysburg competitors in 87th place with a score of 238 (80-78-80).
