THE SKINNY STORY
In a game of dominant defenses that allowed few quality chances, Dickinson paid off a breakaway in the 79th minute for the game's lone goal of a 1-0 win over Gettysburg.
THE LEADERS

Anna Kavountzis (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown North) made two saves for the Bullets while
Catherine Martin (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) anchored a backline that allowed few attempts to even reach their keeper.
FOR THE FOES
• Ava Prisco scored the lone goal for the Red Devils.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Gettysburg had the best look of an opening half that didn't have a single shot for the first 30 minutes. The Bullets thought they had a goal in the 42nd minute but a lengthy conversation resulted in an offsides call negating the tally.
• Dickinson got a thru ball in the 79th minute and Ava Prisco took control 30 yards out with a defender on her hip. She shook the defender and fired a shot from the top of the box that caromed off the left post and in to break up the double shutout.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Dickinson had a 6-2 advantage in shots but Gettysburg had a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.
