The Simard File: A versatile infielder and one of the most experienced Bullets…Three-year starter who leads the team in career games played (105) game started (104) and hits (113)...Moving back to second base after playing shortstop last season.

2010: Started 34 games at shortstop…Finished fourth on the team in batting at .315…Had 41 hits and tied for second among the Bullets with seven doubles…Posted 12 multi-hit games…Went 4-for-5 with three runs in a win over Central (Iowa) in Florida…Was also 3-for-5 against Haverford and 2-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs against Washington.

2009: Made all of his 37 starts at second base…Led the Bullets in sacrifice bunts (three) and was second in stolen bases, going 8-for-9…Stole eight bases in a row to end the season…Also led the team and tied for second in the conference in sacrifice flies (five)…Was 3-for-4 with three runs scored against Washington (Md.)…Scored three runs against Penn State-Brandywine. 

2008: Finished third on the team in batting (.315) … Led the team in runs (30) and walks (19) and was second in stolen bases, going a perfect 6-for-6 … Made his first 25 starts at shortstop before playing the final eight games at second base … Went 3-for-4 with three runs in a 9-8 loss to Haverford on April 5 … Was also 3-for-4 in a 6-5 loss to Tri-State in Florida on March 7.

High School: Competed in wrestling and baseball at Belmont Hill H.S. … Played shortstop and second base and received both the Baserunning and Sportsmanship awards.

Personal: Born Sept. 29, 1988 … Son of William and Linda Simard … A psychology major.
