The Rodriguez File: Will make the move from safety to tight end and will compete for a starting job.

2007: Played in nine games and made two starts at safety…Grabbed his first collegiate interception against Lebanon Valley and made a season-high five tackles in that game…Had four hits at Hampden-Sydney.

2006: Started all 10 contests, finishing sixth in the conference with 7.9 tackles per game...Ranked second on the team with 30 solo tackles and third with 79 total tackles...Forced a fumble against Lebanon Valley and recovered a fumble against Johns Hopkins...Opened the season with 14 tackles against Lebanon Valley...Posted 10 stops against Johns Hopkins and 11 at Dickinson.

2005: Competed as a member of the junior varsity team.

High School: Was all-state honorable mention in football at Bishop Ireton High School...Also competed in basketball and track.

Personal: Uncle, Harry Flaherty, played football at Holy Cross before going on to a professional career with the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles...An economics major.
