2008-09: Team’s leading competitor during the first half of the season, winning 20 of 29 bouts mostly at 157... Tied for the team lead with five major decisions and was second overall with 64 takedowns...Posted three pins and led the Bullets with 12 riding time points...Won four of six matches to take fourth at the Messiah Petrofes Tournament...Won final five matches of the season, including two by fall...Spent spring semester studying abroad.
2007-08: Was one of the team’s top scorers, finishing with a record of 21-11, primarily at 165 pounds...Earned two pins, one technical fall, and two major decisions....Won 12-straight matches to end the regular season...Finished third at the Ursinus Homecoming Invitational...Won all three matches at the King’s quadrangular, including an 8-6 overtime decision and one major decision...Managed a last-second takedown to beat McDaniel opponent 6-5.
2006-07: Finished with an overall record of 7-7…Was 2-3 at 157, 4-3 at 165, and 1-1 at 174…Picked up first two career wins at 157 in the Springfield Doug Parker Invite, advancing to the quarterfinals…Advanced to the semifinals of the Ursinus Brute-Adidas Invite…Went 3-2 in dual meets, including a 10-7 win at 165 against Johns Hopkins.
High School: Led the Chaminade High School wrestling team to four-straight New York Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) state championships...Won the 145 division at the2006 CHSAA Championships and was named the meet’s Most Outstanding Wrestling and given the Ironman Award...Went 44-2 in his senior year of competition...Also played football and lacrosse.
