2009: A USILA honorable mention All-American...Also named to All-Centennial Conference First Team...One of the leaders of a defense that held opponents to 7.45 goals per game...Started all 20 games...Finished fifth on the team with 42 ground balls...Third among the Bullets with 24 caused turnovers...Had a career-high five ground balls in a win over Ohio Wesleyan...Caused three turnovers in back-to-back wins over Dickinson and No. 1 Salisbury...Scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Franklin & Marshall...Off the field, earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Second Team honors. 

2008: Started all 20 games for the Bullets ... Was fourth on the team with 13 caused turnovers, including three against Washington (Md.) in the Centennial Conference championship game ... Also had 25 ground balls. 

2007: Saw action in six games for Gettysburg … Made his collegiate debut against Marymount on March 14. 

High School: A three-sport athlete who also played basketball and soccer ... Named all-section in lacrosse...Earned national academic recognition. 

Personal: Born July 28, 1988...Son of William and Lorraine Kurpis...An economics major.
