Gettysburg’s top returning javelin thrower…Also competes in the shot put.

2009-10: Took sixth in the javelin at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Championship with a heave of 171-5…Was also ninth in the shot put with a PR of 39-8 1/2…Won the javelin at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational with a PR and ECAC-qualifying throw of 180-10.

2008-09: Finished ninth in the javelin at the CC outdoor meet, throwing 154-9…Had a season-best throw of 173-0 at the Little Three Meet, where he took second…Competed in the shot put indoors and placed 13th at the conference championship.

High School: Competed in track & field and basketball at Ramsey H.S....Was a thrower for the track team and a center/forward on the basketball squad...Helped set a javelin relay record... Named second-team all-league.

Personal: Born May 24, 1989...Son of Steve Lester...A history major and Civil War era studies minor.
