2010: One of three players to start all 17 matches…Factored onto both sides of the ball as a midfielder, helping the defense post a 1.89 GAA and scoring three points…Scored first collegiate goal against Dickinson College…Dished out an assist against Washington College…Took 23 shots on the year – second-most on the team.

2009: Appeared in 13 matches with a dozen starts…Tallied 14 shots on the year…Helped the defense to a 1.08 goals against average in the matches in which he appeared…Contributed to six shutouts…Had three shots against Shippensburg and four attempts against Misericordia.

2008: Appeared in each of the final 14 matches of the season, including a dozen starts...Helped the defense post a 1.25 goals against average and four shutouts on the year...Fired a dozen shots, including six on goal...Tallied two shots in a match twice.

High School: Tabbed all-state in soccer at Loomis Chaffee School...Named a Western New England Prep School Soccer Association All-Star in 2006 and 2007...Helped Loomis Chaffee to the Connecticut state championship in 2004...Also competed in track, winning the Founder’s League championship in the 800 meters.

Athletic Ties: Sister, Kate McCarthy, is a sophomore midfielder on Boston College's nationally-ranked soccer program.
