Biography

A strong middle-distance runner who competes in a wide range of events…Ranks sixth in the school history in the indoor mile…Also competes in cross country…Spent her Fall semester abroad in Denmark.

2010-11 Indoors: Was second on the team in the mile (5:31.94)…Outdoors: Posted the team’s top time in the 1,500m (4:56.47)…Was also second on the team in the 5,000m (18:53.49) and fourth in the 800m (2:29.46)…Finished 15th in the 1,500m and 16th in the 5,000m at the Centennial Conference Championship…Took fifth in the 5,000m at the Widener Invitational…Placed third in the mile at the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational.

High School: Participated in soccer, skiing, cross country and indoor/outdoor track & field at Prospect Mountain High School.…Served as captain…Received the NHIAA Student Athlete Award…Also the secretary of the National Honor Society and class treasurer.

Major: Biochemistry-Molecular Biology. Minor: Chemistry.
