A quick and scrappy player that will challenge for time on the defensive unit…Coming out of a strong high school lacrosse program.

High School: Played field hockey and lacrosse at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School…Helped the Saints’ lacrosse team finish 25-3 overall, capture their 16th-straight Independent School League AA title, and win the 2010 VISAA Division I State Championship in lacrosse…Was an all-conference forward for the Saints conference championship field hockey squad.

Personal: Born June 25, 1992…Daughter of Steven Akey and Joyce Carrier…Has not decided on a major.
