The Schmitz File: Converted from attack to midfield...Will look to continue to keep improving from the fall...In the mix for midfield playing time...Transferred from Bryant University following his sophomore year.

2011: Took the field in seven games and started at Salisbury...Scored five goals on 10 shots, including three in a win against Merchant Marine...Tallied five ground balls.

2010: Did not appear in any games at Bryant. 2009: Played in five games at Bryant, finishing with one assist.

High School: Played football and lacrosse at Moses Brown…Earned all-state recognition…Served as a team captain…Was selected as his team’s most valuable player in 2007. Family Connection: Father, Peter Schmitz, played lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts and the Boston Blazers, was inducted into the Long Island Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and is currently serving as the president of the National Lacrosse League’s players’ association.
