Biography

2013: Ran in seven varsity races…Posted a season-best time of 26:15 at the Gettysburg Invitational.

2012: Competed in five varsity races…Posted a season-best time of 26:18 at the Gettysburg Invitational.

2011: Ran in five races…Clocked a season-best time of 26:11 at the Paul Short Run…Placed 59th in 27:30 at the Centennial Conference Championships. 

High School: Competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field at Pottsgrove H.S....Earned all-conference recognition and served as a team captain…Holds Pottsgrove’s cross country course record and helped set a school record in the 4x800-meter relay.

Family Connections: Grandfather, Col. Joseph Powers, competed in track & field at Gettysburg and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Athletic Honor as a member of a mile relay team that won a pair of Penn Relays titles in 1942.

Majors: Public Policy, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
