The Caruso File: One of the team’s most experienced players…Should return to a starting role at wing back.

2013: Started all 10 games at right wing…Made 21 receptions for 293 yards and a touchdown…Also rushed for 113 yards and three TDs on 17 carries…Made five catches for 72 yards versus Ursinus…Also caught two passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in a victory at Misericordia…Rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown at Juniata…Also ran for a TDs at Misericordia and Moravian…Made his second career touchdown pass with a 21-yard strike to Alec Pacelli in a win over Susquehanna.

2012: Played in four games, rushing for 133 yards and catching eight passes for an additional 147 yards… Also averaged 36.2 yards on four punts…On the team’s first play of the season, returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown against Misericordia…Also rushed for 63 yards on four carries and caught two passes for 49 yards in that game…Ran for 55 yards and grabbed three receptions for 56 yards against Ursinus.

2011: Played in and started all 10 games at wing back…Finished second on the team in both receptions (37) and receiving yards (544) while hauling in a pair of touchdowns…Also rushed 39 times for 184 yards and two additional TDs…Posted back-to-back 100-yard receiving games versus Susquehanna (116) and McDaniel (133)…Rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown against Franklin & Marshall…Finished seventh in the Centennial Conference in yards per game (54.4) and 10th in receptions per game (3.70)…Also served as the team’s punter in the second half of the season…Averaged 31.5 yards on 24 punts, including five fair catches…Only eight of his punts were returned for a total of 11 yards…Made a season-long 50-yard punt against Johns Hopkins.

High School: Played football, basketball, and baseball at Holy Name…Earned first-team all-state and All-Berks County recognition…Was selected as the Berks County Section II Defensive Back of the Year, the WFMZ TV Class A Player of the Year, and the VYPE Magazine Player of the Year…Led Berks County in scoring with 192 points (32 touchdowns), and in total yards from scrimmage with 2,122 (1,443 yards rushing and 679 yards receiving)…Also made six interceptions…Set Holy Name records for touchdowns, points, and receptions in a game, season, and career...Served as a team captain…Also was named team MVP in basketball and baseball…Was a high school teammate of fellow Bullet Danny Christian.
