Biography


A quick, strong attacker that will add a physical presence inside the eight-meter arc...One of the top returning scorers in the nation...Looking to be a driving force for the Bullets on offense...Also a member of the Bullets’ nationally-ranked field hockey program. 

2009: Named IWLCA All-America First Team and womenslacrosse.com Second Team after posting 81 points – the 10th-highest total in school history...Scored 45 goals and led the Bullets with 36 assists...Also copped first-team All-Metro Region and first-team All-CC accolades...Finished fourth in the league in points per game and fifth in assists per game...Scored a career-high seven points four times...Posted five points against No. 2 College of New Jersey...Tallied four points in both meetings with F&M...Tabbed ECAC Metro/South and CC Offensive Player of the Week once each. 

2008: Emerged as one of the team’s top contributors, appearing in 18 games with 10 starts...Accumulated 31 points on 15 goals and 16 assists, ranking fourth on the team in the latter stat...Tied for fifth on the squad with 50 shots...Started each of her first four appearances, totaling five goals and five assists...Scored two goals in a game four times – twice against nationally-ranked opponents...Scored a goal and dished out three assists against Bryn Mawr. 

2007: Appeared in five games for Division I James Madison...Scored three times on four shots and added two draw controls. 

High School: An all-conference and all-county selection in lacrosse at The Bryn Mawr School...Was a team co-captain on the lacrosse squad and also played field hockey and basketball. 

Personal: Born July 11, 1987...Daughter of David and Jeannie Emala...Grandfather, Redmond Finney, was an All-American football player at Princeton University and her father, David Emala, was an All-American baseball player at Johns Hopkins University...Majoring in English.
