Biography


The Manniello File: Struggled with injuries in 2009 after earning the third starting defenseman position…A tenacious defender, who always plays at 100 percent intensity…Will be counted upon to provide vocal leadership in the defensive unit. 

2009: Played in 11 games, making 10 starts...Came up with seven ground balls and had five caused turnovers...Posted career-highs of five ground balls and two caused turnovers in a win over Muhlenberg. 

2008: Appeared in eight games...Finished with two ground balls and one caused turnover. 2007: Made four appearances during his freshman campaign…Made his collegiate debut against Cabrini on March 21. 

High School: Played lacrosse and football at Cold Spring Harbor H.S., earning three varsity letters in each...Named academic all-conference in lacrosse...Earned scholar-athlete recognition in both sports. 

Personal: Father, Robert, was a member of the Penn State track & field team from 1961-65 and earned all-America status...A high school teammate of Gettysburg junior John Odierna ... Born March 7, 1988...Son of Robert and Cheryl Manniello...A political science major.
