Biography


The Barnett File: A returning starter at close defense…A strong, physical defenseman who is an excellent communicator.

2010: Started all 10 games as a defenseman...Helped the Bullets lead the Centennial Conference in defense (6.64 gpg)...Finished sixth on the team with 35 ground balls...Was also third among the Bullets with 14 caused turnovers...Picked up five ground balls in a win over Muhlenberg...Had a caused turnover in 11 different games...Registered his first career point with an assist against Roanoke in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

2009: Played in 17 games as the team’s No. 2 long-stick midfielder...Key member of defense that held opponents to 7.45 goals per game...Picked up a ground ball in 11 games and caused a turnover in seven games.

2008: Appeared in three games during his freshman campaign...Made his collegiate debut in a win over Muhlenberg on March 22.

High School: Earned all-conference honors as a long-stick midfielder and defenseman at the Brunswick School, where he served as a co-captain...Also played football at Brunswick.

Personal: Grandson of former NFL head coach Dick Vermeil...Born Jan. 5, 1989...Son of Steve and Nancy Barnett...An economics major.
