BACK ON TRACK: After going winless in three straight games (0-2-1) and 2-3-2 in the first half of October, Gettysburg got back on track with a pair of wins last week. The Bullets recorded a 4-1 home win over McDaniel last Wednesday before picking up a 1-0 win at Haverford on Saturday to clinch a conference playoff berth. Gettysburg wraps up the regular season with a pair of home games, hosting Lycoming in a non-league battle before closing out the year with Muhlenberg on Saturday to establish the final playoff standings.
WHAT'S THE SCENARIO?: While there are no conference games during the midweek, three games on Saturday will determine the final order of standings for the postseason. The six teams to qualify for the postseason have been determined. It also just so happens that those six teams all play on Saturday. Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall battle each other for the top seed. Muhlenberg and Gettysburg meet up with a home first-round game on the line. The Bullets will have a home game with at least a tie on Saturday. Washington and Dickinson also battle. The Shoremen have virtually locked up a home game could still get to the No. 2 seed with a win and Diplomat victory.
