OPENING KICK: Tonight's non-conference game marks the 12th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (1-2-1) and Catholic (3-3) in a series that dates back to 1987. The Bullets lead the all-time series 8-2-1 and are unbeaten since a 1-0 Cardinal victory in 2018. 

WHEN LAST WE MET: Gettysburg scored twice in the second half to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit and forge a draw at Catholic 2-all last season. Connor Fife scored the first goal for the Bullets. Athi Msiza got the equalizer to eventually force the tie. Darius Siahpoosh got the Cardinals on the board in the game's opening minute. LAST TIME OUT: Swarthmore and Gettysburg combined for a flurry of threatening shots in the final 31 minutes of the game but each team was able to only put one past stout goalkeeping to settle for a 1-all draw in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams on Saturday. CHASING GOALS: Chase Sempervive found the back of the net for the second time on Saturday. He is the first Bullet to score multiple goals this season. Athi Msiza has recorded a pair of assists over the first four games.

LAST TIME OUT: Three different Cardinals scored as Catholic ended its stay in Richmond with a 3-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney on Sunday at the Simms/Flowers Classic. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

RANKED/UNRANKED: The Cardinals have split their first six games of the season. All three losses have come against ranked opponents while the three wins are all against unranked teams. Catholic has scored 10 goals and allowed 10 goals through six games. In the three wins, the Cardinals are outscoring their opponents 8-1 but are being outscored 9-2 in their three losses. Gordie Bernlohr has two goals and two assists on the year. Both goals came in a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon while both assists were in Sunday's 3-0 win.
