Gettysburg College Athletics

Returning all-conference performer on the defensive side of the field…Three-year starter and team co-captain this fall…Member of Delta Gamma sorority…Hails from a long line of Gettysburg graduates that dates back several generations…Older sister, Ashley is currently the Bullets assistant field hockey coach and is a former All-American goalie at Messiah College, while younger sister Haley is in her first year as a freshman goalkeeper at Gettysburg.

2013: Named All-Centennial Conference Second Team as a defender…Started all 16 contests and helped the Bullets hold nines foes to two goals or less…Posted defensive saves against Swarthmore and McDaniel…Tallied an assist against Shenandoah.
 
2012: Named to the All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention Team…Made a team-leading six defensive saves, including three in the team’s Centennial Conference playoff semifinal versus 15th-ranked Haverford... Helped the Bullets hold 12 of their 17 opponents to less than three goals, including three shutouts.

2011: Started all 16 games as a defensive specialist…Helped Gettysburg hold eight opponents to two goals or less…Frequently charged with marking the opponents’ top offensive player.

High School: Competed in field hockey and soccer at Northern H.S….Served as a team captain…Named her field hockey team’s defensive player of the year.

Family Connections: Older sister, Ashley Mowery, was a three-time All-America goalie at Messiah College from 2006-09 and is currently an assistant field hockey coach at Gettysburg.

Major: Sociology.
