Gettysburg College Athletics

Kevin Rickrode is entering his ninth season on the Gettysburg staff in 2014-15. Over the past eight seasons, he has helped guide the Bullets to a record of 119-91 (86-58 CC), six  Centennial Conference playoff berths,  two appearances in the NCAA Division III tournament, the 2008-09 Centennial Conference title, as well as the first two NCAA tournament victories in program history in 2007-08. He also helped Gettysburg reach the Centennial Conference championship game three years in a row from 2007-08 through 2009-10.

Prior to arriving in Gettysburg, Rickrode earned five years of coaching experience at his high school alma mater, New Oxford (Pa.). He served as the Colonials head girl's basketball coach from 2002-06, and he was also an assistant baseball coach at New Oxford.

Rickrode, a 2002 graduate of Shippensburg, was an accomplished high school basketball and baseball player at New Oxford. An all-conference guard, he was his team’s MVP twice, and set the school’s single-game, single-season and career records for 3-point field goals. As a pitcher he set the school record for lowest ERA and earned all-conference honors.
