Gettysburg College Athletics

Ballivian joined the Gettysburg staff as throws coach for the 2024-25 season.

She threw javelin collegiately for Division I Liberty University all three years. She was a part of the Flames' ASUN Conference team for two years, missing the final season due to a season-ending injury. She was an ASUN Academic Honor Roll member all three seasons.

Ballivian earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science with a strength and conditioning specialist cognate, graduating in August 2024. While pursuing her degree, she earned her CSCS Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification.

She did an internship with Virginia Sport and Spine Institute as the final requirement of her degree. During that time, she worked under numerous health professionals including chiropractors, physical therapists, and performance/strength and conditioning coaches.

Ballivian is originally from nearby Biglerville, where she graduated from Biglerville High School. She threw javelin all four years of high school, claiming the school record with a mark of 123-10 to better the previous record by nearly eight inches. She won the YAIAA javelin title and came in third at the 2A district meet as a senior.
