Roark joins the Bullets staff for the 2024 season. He will work primarily with the infielders and assist with strategic offensive development.
Roark comes to Gettysburg after recent coaching stints at Division I Coppin State and UMBC. He worked with the infielders in both programs and both saw tremendous improvements in their defenses under his tutelage.
Prior to his time at the Division I level, Roark established the Tri-State Thunder Gold 16U softball team. From 2019-22, his team finished in the top 15 at USA Gold Nationals and 17 of his players committed to play in college.
Before making the transition to softball, Roark was the Owner/Coach of the Maryland Blue Crabs and an assistant coach for the Bohemia Manor baseball team.
Since 2009, Roark has worked for the Maryland Army National Guard. Currently, he is a Senior Recruiting and Retention Noncommissioned Officer.
