Williams joined the Gettysburg sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in April 2024 after serving the last four years as an assistant athletic trainer at Saint Vincent.
She primarily worked with the Bearcats’ women’s soccer, women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse teams through Saint Vincent’s partnership with UPMC Sports Medicine.
She established updated mental health policies and helped teams incorporate yoga into their recovery routines with great success.
Prior to her time in Western Pennsylvania, she served as a graduate assistant at West Chester, working primarily with the baseball team and assisting with long-term and surgical injuries for all athletes. While there, she published a research study on hip and shoulder mobility in baseball pitchers while completing her master’s.
Williams played soccer during her undergraduate time at Pitt-Bradford, where she earned her bachelor’s in athletic training.
A member of the National Athletic Training Association and the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Society, she is also a Basic Life Support CPR instructor.
