Al Moyer brings 20 years of coaching experience to his eighth season on the Gettysburg staff. During his first seven seasons with the Bullets, the team went 117-58 and advanced to the Centennial Conference playoffs five times.

Moyer has seen the Bullets post a pair of 20-win seasons during his tenure. In 2009-10, the team set a school record with 24 victories on the way to the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA Tournament. In 2012-13, Gettysburg picked up 21 wins and claimed its first Centennial Conference title.
A native of Hanover, Pa., Moyer guided the Fairfield High School boys' basketball team from 1982-89, before heading the program at Bermudian Springs High School from 1989-93. He also served as head coach at South Western High School from 1993-96. Currently, Moyer is the superintendent of the Hanover Area School District.
Moyer was a three-sport athlete at Conewago Valley High School and a two-time basketball captain at York (Pa.) College, graduating in 1981. He earned his master's degree from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in 1990 and earned his doctorate in educational leadership from Immaculata University in Philadelphia.
