Gettysburg College Athletics

2011-12: Finished in fourth in the 400-medley relay, fifth in the 100-backstroke, seventh in the 200-backstroke, ninth in the 200-medley relay, and 10th in both the 200- and 400-freestyle relays at the Centennial Conference Championships…Finished with season personal-best times of 25.59 in the 50-freestyle, 56.31 in the 100-freestyle, 1:02.07 in the 100-backstroke, and 2:14.08 in the 200-backstroke.

2010-11: Swam on the 400-medley relay team that earned the bronze at the Centennial Conference Championship…Individually, placed fifth in the 100-backstroke…Swam on three other relay teams at the CC meet…Helped a 200-medley relay team place ninth and a 200-freestyle and 800-freestyle team take 10th…Finished with the Bullets top time for the season in the 200-backstroke (2:13.39) and second-best mark in the 100-backstroke (1:01.80)…Also recorded personal season-bests of 25.83 in the 50-freestyle, 58.51 in the 100-freestyle, and 2:01.24 in the 200-freestyle…Notched four individual victories throughout the year.  

2009-2010: Placed in the top three in 24 dual meet events, winning nine…Won the Centennial Conference silver medal in the 400-medley relay, and the bronze medal in the 200-freestyle relay…Also finished sixth in the 200-backstroke, seventh in the 100-backstroke, and ninth in the 400 and 800 freestyle relays.

High School: Participated in swimming and field hockey at Conestoga…Swam for head coach, Rob Kirkby.

Family Connections: Older brother, Drew ’12, was a member of the Bullet swimming team from 2008-12 and older sister, Demery ’09, also swam for the Bullets from 2005-09...Cousin, Trip ’08, and mother, Kim ’79, are also Gettysburg graduates.

Major: Organization and Management Studies.
