Former Messiah College All-American Lauren (Rees) Bond enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Bullets volleyball program.
Bond was a standout player on the volleyball court for the Falcons, earning four all-conference awards, two all-region citations, and landing a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-America Team as an honorable mention selection in 2012. Bond finished her career as the program’s career leader in kills (1,418) and kills per set (3.47).
After graduating with a degree in athletic training, Bond was the head athletic trainer for CPRS Physical Therapy at the Williams Valley High School, where she also served as a substitute teacher. She went back to her alma mater as an assistant coach in 2017 and 2017 and currently coaches at the Fusion Volleyball Club in Camp Hill, Pa. She has served as the assistant club director at Fusion Volleyball Club since 2015. Bond attained her master’s degree in higher education from Messiah in May.
