Englert is in his fourth season on the Gettysburg staff.
In his first year, he helped coach five placewinners for the Bullets at the conference championship as well as three regional medalists and three Scholar All-Americans. He also was part of the staff that mentored the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year (Luke Kowalski) and the championship's Most Outstanding Wrestler in Eric Mougalian. A year later, Kowalski was a conference champion, Most Outstanding Wrestler and earned All-America accolades.
A graduate of Pitt-Johnstown, where he majored in engineering, Englert was a 2016 Pennsylvania Greco-Roman State Championship and national team member. He was a bronze medalist that same year at the northeast regional. A year earlier, he was a Pennsylvania Greco-Roman bonze medalist and national team member.
Englert has competed at the USA University National Greco-Roman and Freestyle. He is also a Modern Day Gladiators coach, training USA Wrestling senior All-American Mason Lewis.
