McAllister joined the department’s administrative team as the newly created Assistant Director for Athletic Equipment, Operations, and Facilities in July 2022 after spending the previous four years as equipment and facilities manager at Shippensburg University.
In his role at Gettysburg, he not only oversees all equipment operations and distributions but he is also responsible for purchasing and serves as the department's liaison to its apparel and equipment provider, BSN Sports. He also serves as the point person with the College's facilities and housekeeping departments.
During his time with the Raiders, he directly managed the inventory, organization, distribution, and collection of equipment for 17 of the department’s 18 teams.
He also managed and organized the Heiges Field House, Henderson Gym, and Robb Sports Complex during his time at Shippensburg, maintaining the locker rooms and sport-specific equipment within each venue. He also assisted with facility setup for team camps and maintained regular communication with BSN Sports and the Facilities Director.
A 2016 graduate of Lock Haven with a bachelor’s in sports administration, he continued his education at Lock Haven. He earned his masters in sports administration while serving as a graduate assistant in the athletic department, working primarily as a gameday manager for women’s lacrosse while also assisting with operations for wrestling, basketball, baseball, and softball.
McAllister played two seasons of baseball at Frederick Community College before attending Lock Haven.
