Khaliq Coleman

Coleman joins the Gettysburg coaching staff in 2024 with four years of high school coaching experience and a year at the collegiate level at Saint Vincent College.
 
Last fall, Coleman served as the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Jeannette High School outside of Pittsburgh. He helped the Jayhawks turn a 3-7 record into 7-4 mark and playoff berth. The offense recorded more than 4,000 yards of total offense with four players earning all-conference honors.
 
In the spring of 2023, he coached wide receivers at Saint Vincent College and helped in recruiting in western Pennsylvania.
 
From 2021-23, Coleman served as assistant head coach and wide receivers/defensive backs coach at Hempfield High School in Greensburg. In addition to his on-field coaching, he was also the team's recruiting, academic and social media coordinators.
 
From 2019-21, Coleman coached wide receivers, tight ends and defensive backs at Greensburg Central Catholic High School. The 2021 squad finished 7-3 and advanced to the WPIAL playoffs. He coached a pair of all-conference honorees and led a defensive secondary that recorded the second-most interceptions in Pennsylvania.
 
A Philadelphia native, Coleman graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in human communication studies, playing football collegiately at both Shippensburg and Indiana University of Pa.
