Hannah Church scored three goals while senior
Hollis Stahl added two goals and two assists, but the sixth-ranked Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team lost 13-10 at fifth-ranked and undefeated College of New Jersey Saturday afternoon.
Kathleen Notas scored five goals for TCNJ (7-0) while Alison Jaeger posted four goals and three assists. Lisa Seldeen added three goals and three assists for the Lions.
The game marked a rematch of last year's NCAA Division III quarterfinals, which Gettysburg won 10-9.
The Bullets, who also received two goals and one assist from senior
Jessica Crane, enjoyed their only lead of the day when Stahl scored with 11:24 left in the first half, making it 4-3. But TCNJ closed the period on a 5-0 run, with Notos scoring the final three goals of the surge, to take an 8-4 lead into halftime.
The Lions pushed their lead to five on a pair of occasions, the last coming after a Leigh Mitchell goal with 13:37 left that made it 11-6. Crane and senior
Nina Emala scored 10 seconds apart to pull Gettysburg within three with 9:49 to go, but the Bullets were unable to get any closer the rest of the way.

Kristen Krammer finished with nine saves for Gettysburg while Mary Waller stopped 10 shots for TCNJ.
Gettysburg resumes its schedule on Wednesday, when it hosts McDaniel College at 7 p.m.
