Adrian Macdonald each ran NCAA provisional-qualifying times at The College of New Jersey Last Chance Qualifier on Thursday for the Gettysburg College track & field team.
Reynolds opened the day for the Bullets by finishing fourth among 23 Division I, III, and unattached athletes in the 800-meter run. He was timed at 1:52.36, a personal record (PR) by 0.78 seconds. Heading into the meet, his time would have tied for the 19th-best in Division III.
Macdonald chipped 2.35 seconds off his PR in the 1500, taking fifth out of 18 runners in 3:54.23 and just beating the NCAA provisional standard of 3:54.50.
Competing in her final collegiate meet was senior
Vanessa Pabon, who closed out an outstanding career by taking fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 35-6 3/4. Pabon leaves Gettysburg with outdoor school records in the triple jump (38-8 1/4) and the heptathlon (4,065 points) and indoor records in the triple jump (37-11 1/4) and the pentathlon (2,714 points). She also collected 13 Centennial Conference medals for her career.

Kerrin Epstein, who provisionally qualified in the 10,000-meter run at the Centennial Conference Championships on April 30, will learn if they make the final cut for the NCAA Division III Championships when the fields are announced Sunday on
www.raceberryjam.com. The championships will be held May 27-29 at Baldwin-Wallace College, this Sunday.
