COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Gettysburg picked up its sixth win in its last seven outings by sweeping by Ursinus College 3-0 in its Centennial Conference opener on Saturday.
Gettysburg (8-3) notched its second sweep in as many days by dispatching Ursinus (7-4, 0-1 CC) 25-21, 25-20, and 25-22. Senior
Virginia Hogan hit double-figures in kills for the fourth time in six matches with a match-high 13. Sophomore
Sarah Gorski added eight kills and a pair of blocks, while freshman
Cydney Bracken posted six kills.

Lizzy Kuhn dished out 34 assists and put up nine digs. Senior
Rebecca Rubenstein accumulated 15 digs to lead the defense.
Kristin Hanratty and Kim Goldberg each posted seven kills for Ursinus, while Leah Masiello led the defensive effort with 18 digs.
Gettysburg resumes play next weekend (Sept. 23-24) at the New York University Violet Classic. The Bullets play four matches beginning with Stockton College on Friday at 4 p.m.
