CARLISLE, Pa. – Freshman Lindsey Treanor allowed only two hits in a 9-0 victory in game two as visiting Gettysburg salvaged a split at Dickinson College in Centennial Conference softball  action on Tuesday.

Gettysburg (15-10, 6-2 CC), which owns the top batting average in the conference, was shutout for the first time season in the opening game as Chelsea Homa allowed only three hits in a 3-0 victory. The Bullets bounced back in the nightcap behind Treanor, who allowed only a pair of singles en route to her team-best third shutout of the campaign.

Gettysburg had no answer for Homa in the first game as junior Joy Hallfors and senior Catrina DelGais accounted for the team's only base hits. Hallfors posted two hits, but never made it past first base, while DelGais was stranded at third following a lead-off double in the second inning. Sophomore Maggie Maguire was also stranded at third after drawing a lead-off walk in the fourth frame.

Dickinson (7-19, 3-5 CC) took advantage of a pair of errors to bring across two runs in the opening frame. Carly Jordan made it a 3-0 lead with a run-scoring single in the third.

Homa allowed only one walk and fanned eight in the win. Senior Lanie Parr took the loss after allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and striking out four.

Gettysburg bounced back with a dozen hits in the nightcap. The Bullets went to work early as freshman Melissa Tighe and Hallfors reached base to open the game. Tighe scored on senior Adrienne Rahs' school-record eighth sacrifice fly of the season and Hallfors came around to score on a double by Maguire to give the visitors a 2-0 edge after one.

After Maguire brought home Tighe with a single in the fifth, Gettysburg opened the floodgates with a six-run sixth. Hallfors drove in a pair of runs with a single and scored on Rahs' 10th double of the campaign. Junior Sam Bader posted two of her three hits in the inning.

Tighe and Hallfors went a combined 4-for-6 with five runs and three RBI at the top of the Bullets' lineup. Maguire posted a pair of hits and drove in two runs.

Rahs drove in her 100th career RBI with her first-inning sacrifice fly, becoming just the third Gettysburg player to reach the mark. She also scored the 100th run of her career in the final inning to join Mandy Wilson '02 as the only players in program history with 100 runs scored and 100 RBI. Her sixth-inning double was the 41st of her career, leaving her just three shy of the Centennial Conference record held by current Gettysburg head coach Sam Abrams (McDaniel '04).

Treanor improved to 7-2 after allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out one.

Gettysburg travels to Washington College for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m.
