GETTYSBURG, Pa. –  Harley Moore threw a complete-game four-hitter and the Dickinson College baseball team defeated Gettysburg 5-1 to complete a series sweep Thursday afternoon at Kirchhoff Field.

The Bullets (12-8, 2-4 CC) managed only three base runners through the first six innings before threatening in two of the final three frames. With one out in the seventh, Gettysburg loaded the bases on a single from sophomore Al Posch and a pair of infield errors. But after freshman Cory Karagjozi drilled a sacrifice fly to center, Moore escaped with a groundout.

After going down in order in the eighth, sophomores Alex Freeman and Nate Simon singled before Moore induced a game-ending pop-out.

Dickinson (15-9, 2-4 CC) won Tuesday's meeting with the Bullets 8-2 in Carlisle.

Freshman Eric Hungerford threw the first seven innings for Gettysburg and allowed all five runs (four earned) on seven hits and one walk while fanning six. Junior Brett Norton came on to throw a pair of scoreless innings, striking out three.

Posch's single extended his hitting streak to 14 games.

Joseph Tursi, Dickinson's No. 9 hitter, finished 4-for-4 with three runs while leadoff hitter Andrew Sterling was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Red Devils.

Moore (2-2), who walked one and struck out eight, was perfect through three innings, and the freshman southpaw faced the minimum through five. Sophomore Cam MacDonald gave the Bullets their first hit with a two-out single in the fifth.

Dickinson scored two runs (one earned) in the third against Hungerford (2-3). The Devils added a single run in the fourth before Sterling tripled in a run and scored on a wild pitch in the seventh, making it 5-0.

Gettysburg returns to Centennial Conference action on Saturday, when it visits Washington College for a doubleheader starting at 12:30 p.m.
