BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Moravian outscored Gettysburg 20-7 in the second half and the Greyhounds handed the Bullets a 41-21 setback in Centennial Conference football action Saturday afternoon at Rocco Calvo Field.
Gettysburg (3-5, 2-5 CC) led 7-0 when senior
Aden Twer (Jenkintown, Pa./Jenkintown) hauled in a 62-yard touchdown pass from junior
Zach Miller (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand), but the Greyhounds (2-6, 2-5 CC) ran off the next 21 points and never trailed the rest of the way.
Sophomore tailback
Kyle Wigley (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown for the Bullets while Twer caught three passes for 72 yards. Miller threw for 221 yards on 18-of-29 passing, and he also rushed for 58 yards on 21 carries.
Chris Negron led Moravian with 251 rushing yards and two touchdowns while quarterback Robbie Moyer added 159 rushing yards and two additional TDs. Moyer also completed 9-of-11 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Fred Caruso (Sinking Spring, Pa./Holy Name) scored on a 3-yard touchdown run with 5:04 on the clock, making it a 21-14 game at halftime.
The Greyhounds scored the only points of the third quarter, finding the end zone twice to push their advantage to 34-14. Wigley scored on a 5-yard touchdown run with 5:52 remaining to make it 34-21 before Moravian set the final score on a Negron 18-yard touchdown run with 2:42 left.
Moravian outgained the Bullets 508-459.

Chris Miller (Manasquan, N.J./Manasquan) led the defense with 12 tackles, including nine solo stops, while sophomore safety
Michael Kornegay (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) dealt 11 hits.
Gettysburg plays its final home game next Saturday, when it hosts Dickinson College at 1 p.m. on Senior Day and the battle for the Little Brown Bucket.
