STEVENSON, Md. – The Gettysburg College baseball teams suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday, dropping an 11-1 decision to red-hot Stevenson University in a non-conference affair.
The Bullets (1-1) fell behind 4-0 in the bottom of the first against the Mustangs (8-1), who have now won eight straight games after losing their season opener.
Senior
Brett Norton (Millwood, N.Y./Horace Greeley) went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Gettysburg, which was held to five hits. Stevenson starter Greg Myers (2-1) allowed just one unearned run over seven innings while striking out eight.

Eric Hungerford (New Preston, Conn./Shepaug Valley) with four unearned runs on three hits and two errors in the first. Norton made it a 4-1 game with an RBI-single in the third, but the hosts answered with three runs on three hits, one error, and a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame.

John Donovan (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe), who worked the fifth through the seventh innings. Junior

Gettysburg returns to action on Sunday, when it kicks off its Spring Break trip in Fort Myers, Fla. with a doubleheader versus St. Lawrence University starting at 10 a.m.
