Box Score GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Freshman
Meri Lowy (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) served up an ace for the final point to help Gettysburg College finish off a comeback in the third set and complete a sweep of Bryn Mawr College in Centennial Conference volleyball action inside Bream Gym on Saturday.
Gettysburg (17-8, 4-2 CC) cruised in the opening two sets with Bryn Mawr (10-12, 1-6 CC) with scores of 25-16 and 25-15, respectively. The Owls battled back from an eight-point deficit with a 16-3 run to take a 21-16 lead in the third set. Bryn Mawr would have set point at 24-22 before the hosts registered back-to-back kills by freshman
Maddie Weikert (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) and sophomore
Laura Bergin (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle). After an attack error by the visitors, Lowy polished off the win with a wicked serve.

Stephanie Blair (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) paced a well-balanced attack with eight kills, while dishing out 29 assists. Weikert, Bergin, and junior
Joosje Grevers (Westport, Conn./Staples) each recorded seven kills with Bergin also putting up 10 digs.
Lowy finished with a season-high five aces and eight digs. Junior
Hannah Bentz (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) paced the defensive effort with 15 digs.
Rachel Ofili led Bryn Mawr with 16 kills, while Allie Nagelski put up a dozen digs.
Next up for the Bullets is a road trip to McDaniel College on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7p.m.
