Box Score 2 GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College volleyball team wrapped up its own Battlefield Classic with a pair of victories inside Bream Gym on Saturday. 
Gettysburg (3-1) cruised to a three-set win over Penn State Altoona (25-14, 25-18, 25-10) before holding back Oberlin College (2-2) in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19). 
Sophomore 
Laura Bergin (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) was named to the All-Tournament Team after another strong performance on Saturday. She recorded at least 11 kills in all four contests and she finished with a team-best 49 for the weekend. Bergin also totaled seven aces and 36 digs in the four contests. 
Gettysburg came out strong against Penn State, knocking down 16 kills in the opening set. The second frame was close until the hosts went on a 6-1 run with Bergin sealing the win with an ace. The Bullets never trailed in the clinching set. 
Bergin paced the attack with 13 kills and junior 
Hannah Bentz (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) led the defense with 13 digs. Freshman 
Stephanie Blair (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) posted a double-double with 29 assists and 10 digs, while fellow first-year 
Katherine Gilbert (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) put up 10 digs. 
Despite pulling off a five-set victory over Penn State Altoona, Oberlin showed no signs of weariness in pushing the Bullets in the day's final match. There were 12 ties and three lead changes in the opening two sets, but Gettysburg persevered to win both. Oberlin led throughout the third set and early in the fourth before the hosts came alive. Gettysburg broke a 15-all tie with three quick points and capped the decisive set on a 10-4 run overall. 
Bergin once again led the way with 11 kills and chipped in with a dozen digs. Junior 
Joosje Grevers (Westport, Conn./Staples) posted eight kills and classmate 
Courtney Morrow (Greenlawn, N.Y./Harborfields) added six. 
Blair recorded five kills, 27 assists, and 16 digs, while Bentz and junior 
Alesha Miller (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) combined for 30 digs in the back row. 
Gettysburg heads to Hood College for a non-conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m.
