Kevin Gladstone (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) scored a game-high 17 points, leading the Gettysburg College men's basketball team to a 60-52 Centennial Conference (CC) victory over McDaniel College on Senior Day and the regular-season finale for both teams.
With the win, Gettysburg (14-11, 10-8 CC) finishes fourth in the Centennial Conference standings and will host McDaniel (14-11, 9-9 CC) again in a CC first-round playoff game on Wednesday at Gettysburg tipping off at 7:30 p.m. It will mark Gettysburg's first home postseason game in seven years.

Tanner Kirkpatrick (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Bullets, who won their third game in a row. Freshman guard
Alex Kaslander (Verona, N.J./Verona) added eight points and six rebounds while senior guard
Sean Gordon (Broomall, Pa./Malvern Prep) contributed seven points and four assists.
Gladstone shot 5-for-7 from the field and 7-for-9 at the foul line and is averaging 18.2 points per game over his last six outings, shooting 72.7 percent from the floor over the stretch.

Joe Emerusabe (Derwood, Md./Magruder) were honored in a brief ceremony before the game.
Tim Stewart led the Green Terror with 11 points, though he was limited to 18 minutes due to foul trouble. He entered the game leading the team in scoring at 15.8 points per game.
Gettysburg never trailed in the contest but led just 19-16 with 7:08 left in the first half. But that's when the Bullets took control with a 10-2 run, assuming a 29-18 advantage when Kirkpatrick nailed a 3-pointer with 3:40 showing in the opening stanza. The Orange and Blue would lead by at least seven the rest of the way, and a buzzer-beating jumper from the right elbow from sophomore guard
Pete Christ (Pittstown, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) gave his team a 35-24 lead at the break.
Gladstone led all scorers with 12 points in the first half.
The Terror scored the first four points of the second half, but the Bullets responded with a 9-1 run to assume a 44-29 advantage with 13:55 left. Gettysburg would eventually nudge its lead to 19 (51-32) with 10:22 remaining on trey from Gordon.
McDaniel made a defensive stand to get back into the game, holding Gettysburg to a pair of free throws over the next five minutes to draw to within nine. But that's when freshman forward
Matt England (Warrington, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) converted a pair of big buckets to stem the rally. He dropped in a lay-up off a dish from Gordon with 4:56 left to make it 55-44, then drained a triple off a cross-court pass from Kaslander to give the Bullets a commanding 60-45 lead with 3:08 showing. McDaniel ended the game on a 7-0 run to set the final score.
