BALTIMORE, Md. – The Gettysburg College volleyball team dropped its season finale at Johns Hopkins University 3-1 in a Centennial Conference contest Saturday afternoon.
Gettysburg (16-9, 5-5 CC) scored an opening set win (25-18), but Johns Hopkins (17-8, 10-0 CC) secured the final three decisions (25-20, 25-17, 25-16) to clinch the top seed in the upcoming conference playoffs.
Senior
Laura Bergin (Charlottesville, Va./Western Albemarle) capped an outstanding college career with team-highs of 11 kills and 21 digs. She closed her career 11th in program history with 1,143 career kills to go with 949 digs and 100 blocks.

Lauren Godshalk (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) and freshman
Francesca Garison (Metuchen, N.J./John F. Kennedy Memorial) each posted 10 kills for Gettysburg. Junior
Stephanie Blair (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) recorded 20 assists and 15 digs. Defensively, junior
Katherine Gilbert (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) put up 16 digs, while classmate
Maddie Weikert (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) recorded 13 digs.
